Surabaya Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Bromo Ijen Bali 4 Days 3 Nights

Day 01: Pick up service from Surabaya or Malang Area – Bromo Hotel
Our crew will pick up you at Surabaya or Malang area. Then we drive to Cemoro lawang village, will take about 3 hours. On our way to Bromo hotel if the weather good we will stop at Madakaripura waterfall, this spectacular waterfall lies hidden at the end of a deep valley in the foothills of the Tengger range. The water has cascades from the dense forest above. The primary attraction is its natural environment that is encircled by 7 waterfalls and caves. Then we continue to bromo Hotel. Check in and rest.


Day 02: Sunrise Mount Bromo – Mount Bromo Crater – Ijen Hotel
At 3 AM early morning the 4WD (JEEP) will bring you to the world’s most famous view point at Mount pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera it will take about 30 minutes, to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru in the background is breathtaking the play light shadow with sunrise reach Mountain succession from the top to the bottom and the usual fog of the caldera.

Afterwards, the adventure will be continue to an active Mount Bromo volcano to see the crater. Climb to Mount Bromo Crater it will take about 30 minutes, at the end you will crossing about 240 stairs it will bring you to the peak of Mount Bromo. From here we can see how this volcano still very active.

After see the crater and the panorama from peak of Mount Bromo we back to our jeep, then will drive back to the hotel for breakfast, shower, packing. Around 12 pm we check out from our hotel, then we will continue drive to our next hotel in Lumajang (the town where is the located Tumpak Sewu Waterfall) approximately will take about 3 hours. Upon arrive in Lumajang check in Hotel and rest.


Day 3: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Ijen Hotel
At 4.30 am in the morning we drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls, approximately will take 1,5 hours. Tumpak sewu waterfaal is arguably Indonesia’s best waterfall. It isn’t the largest, even in East Java, but is definitely the most impressive. From above it looks like the tree of life, from below it is immensely powerful and from all angles, it is quite simply mind blowing.

Upon arrive at tumpak sewu waterfall, we will explore this amazing waterfall and if we still haev time we also can visit Kapas biru waterfall, which is also best spot for instagram needs. During trekking to the waterfall please be careful due to the slippery path and traditional bamboo fence.

Around 10 am we back to our hotel for clean up then we continue to our next hotel in Ijen area, approximately will take about 5 hours. Upon arrive at our hotel in Ijen, check in and rest

 


Day 4: Ijen Blue Flames – Bali
At 01.00 AM, Our crew will pick you up and drive to the slope of Mount Ijen, this journey takes approximately 1 hour from the hotel passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few remaining areas on Java with giant ferns and plants, & big trees. From the entrance to Ijen it is about 1.5 hours to ascend slope of Mount Ijen to reach the rim of Ijen Crater. Along the path you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Depending on smoke thickness we can continue going down into the crater,  to get closer from the blue flames.

The path going down into the crater takes about 20 minutes. Down inside the crater you will be able see the amazing the blue flames and also you will see the sulfur miners at work. They climb back up the scrabble path out of Ijen Crater with as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. Don’t forget to take picture with the blue flames as your background as a proof that you have seen the blue flames in Ijen crater. Time in the crater is around 30 minutes. Back at the rim, we can rest at an altitude of 2386 meters above sea level and enjoy the amazing panorama of the lake & surrounding peaks. It truly is a vision to behold.

You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery around the rim of  Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation, as we walk around the rim a bit. Don’t  forget to take pictures in this area also  as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. Also remember this – there are no handrails around the rim, so be very careful. The descent is actually refreshing with Merapi & Raung in view on the way down. We’ll stop at the miner’s shack for a short rest & continue on to our vehicle. Head back to the hotel for breakfast – if you did not bring a packed breakfast. A few hotels offer this option.

Around 10.00 AM we drive you back to Bali it will take about 4-5 hour including cross the Bali Strait by ferry. Check in hotel and end of service
