Excellent service, knowledgeable, helpful and good photographer, he is our guide, Randy Highly recommended. We are a family with two young kids (aged 15 and 11) just came back from Lombok Island last week. Our main goal on this trip was hiking Mount Rinjani, 3726m second highest volcano mountain in Indonesia. Mount Rinjani is always in my wish list but I never really dare to plan it until Randy contacted me through messenger about 8 months ago. He used to be our tour guide when we were in Mt Ijen and Mt Bromo in Dec 2015. Randy is a very kind, patience guy and always answered my queries on time prior to the trip and make sure our safety and needs are taking care throughout entire trip. Truly appreciate and thank you for his good service and help. Not forgetful special thanks to Ipan (guide) and all the porters with us in Mount Rinjani trek. Without their guidance and care, we might not able to make it to the summit. This is the most difficult mountain that we had conquered so far. YESSSS..... we are proudly to say that we MAKE IT TO THE SUMMIT OF MOUNT RINJANI !!!! Lastly our heartfelt thanks... Read More

Excellent outfit, great guide up to Ijen and elsewhere around Banyuwangi & beyond. Highly recommended. These guys are serious. I've been traveling Indonesia for 40+ years and know the crack. Also you are not shafted price wise. Try a fly by night outfit and see for yourself. You would be much better off with guys like these.....a professional outfit....

It was brilliant! I was with a group of friends that went to the Ijen Crater and Mt Bromo tour. Our extraordinary guide was active, always in a friendly, caring and positive way. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The itinerary was well planned - a mark of a quality company. The pace of the tour and hotel choices could not be any better. I had a wonderful time and am happily recommending you to my friends.

Rendy (our tour guide) is a pleasant, helpful, informative & energetic guy. During the trip he take good care for our group of 8. Our ascending of Ijen, the group has been split into 2 groups (due to slower pace and faster pace in the group). He must have foreseen this and has asked along another local with him so that both groups are being taken care of. I experienced some nausea sickness while ascending Ijen, he gave me a drink that makes me feel much better he helped me with my heavy backpack (stuffed with camera gears), so that i can continue with the ascending and descending to the crater. During our Mt Bromo trip, he showed me a good spot to take nice scene of the Mt Bromo during the sunrise. It was so dark and i dropped my camera bag off the cliff. I almost wanted to take it myself, but he asked me not to, as it is a cliff. He then asked for help from one of the locals to try and reach for the bag. I was lucky that the local is able to get it back for me. Rendy could have ignored me... Read More

Rendy could have ignored me and tell me to forget about my camera as it is really too dangerous to attempt to pick it up, but instead he is helpful to ask for the locals for help. When the sun has risen, I take a look at the spot where is the camera has dropped, I could have died there when i first wanted to attempt to pick it up! Hence, thanks to Rendy for stopping me.

In conclusion, the stay near Ijen and Mt Bromo are good. There are hot shower even though the surrounding is cold weather.
Go Adventure ID is highly recommended.
